FACILITIES
Toros Meram Yenilenebilir Enerji Facilities is established on 60 decares of land and consists of three main sections:
Biogas Plant
Solid Organo-mineral Fertilizer Plant
Liquid Organo-mineral Fertilizer Plant
BIOGAS PLANT
Toros Meram Yenilenebilir Enerji biogas plant has five reactors and four gas engines, and its electricity generation capacity is 6,004 MWh. 770 tons of wet waste is disposed per day in the facility, which operates on the principle of mesophilic fermentation and has a bacteriological desulphurization unit.
The raw material inputs of the facility are poultry farm waste, cattle waste, agricultural waste, food industry waste, slaughterhouse waste and other organic industrial waste.
SOLID ORGANOMINERAL FERTILIZER PLANT
The fermented product that completes the gasification process in biogas production is divided into solid and liquid phases. The solid phase subjected to composting is mixed with the necessary chemical raw materials according to the organo-mineral fertilizer formulation after losing its moisture. Since the ideal moisture ratios are different for different organo-mineral formulations, a fine adjustment is made at this stage. After the mixture is granulated, final drying and hygiene processes are carried out.
In Toros Meram Solid Organo-mineral Fertilizer Plant, the heat required for these processes is obtained from the waste heat of the biogas plant; fossil fuel is not used. The entire production process is monitored instantaneously thanks to the advanced automation system and the product quality is preserved thanks to the advanced laboratory facilities within the facility.
The production capacity of the Toros Meram Solid Organo-mineral Fertilizer Plant is 75,000 tons/year, and the solid phase outputs of the Integrated Biogas Facility and outsourced compost raw material are used as inputs.
LIQUID ORGANOMINERAL FERTILIZER PLANT
In Toros Meram Liquid Organo-mineral Fertilizer Plant, concentrated liquid organo-mineral fertilizer rich in plant nutrients (NPK) and fulvic acid is produced by using the liquid phase from the Biogas Facility.
The fermented product with approximately 6% dry matter, which is the output of the Biogas Plant, is separated into the liquid phase, hygienized under temperature and pressure, subjected to filtration, and is made more stable and odorless with active oxygen technology in oxidation pools. The product, which has a very low dry matter ratio, is concentrated using the MVR technology and then packaged and made ready for sale. The product quality is kept at the highest level thanks to this process and advanced laboratory controls, all of which are followed by an advanced automation system.
The production capacity of Toros Meram Liquid Organo-mineral Fertilizer Plant is 15,000 tons/year.
